Why is my website not showing up on Google

Why is my website not showing up on Google has three different answers. The site can be down. Google may never have stored the page. Or the page is stored and still sits below a directory when someone searches your name. Find which one you have before you buy a new design.
Why is my website not showing up on Google: do these in order
- Type your exact address into the phone. If it does not open, the problem is the host or an expired domain. Design will not help.
- In Google, search site: and then your domain, with no space after the colon. If nothing returns, Google has not listed those pages.
- Open yourdomain.com/robots.txt. If it says Disallow: / for the whole site, Google is being told to stay out.
- On the page, view the source and search for noindex. That word tells Google to keep the page out of results.
- In Search Console, inspect the exact URL. Unknown means Google has not crawled it. Crawled but not indexed means Google saw it and skipped it.
- Search your business name in quotes. If a directory ranks above you, your page may be indexed and still losing the click.
Stop at the first failure. A closed robots.txt is not fixed by a new font. An expired domain is a billing problem. A page that is indexed but buried needs a clearer title and the town on the page, not a new company name.
What to do with the result
If site: returns nothing, submit the homepage in Search Console and remove any noindex line. Then wait and inspect the URL again. Do not change the domain while you wait. A new name starts with the same empty result.
If the page is indexed and you still do not see it for your trade, search the exact words a customer would type, plus your town. If your page never uses those words, Google has little reason to show it. Put the work and the town in the title and in the first screen.
A missing viewport is a phone problem. It makes people pinch. It does not, by itself, prove the page is absent from Google. Fix the phone issue because it loses calls. Do not treat it as the reason you are invisible.
The old Heritage Roofing page scored 82 SEO and failed the viewport, the meta description, and the phone font size. The live site scored 100 SEO and 98 Performance. That shows a weak page can be online. It does not show why your page is missing. Run the checks above on your own domain.
Do not buy a new name to escape this
The address on the truck is the one to keep. Point a new host at that same name only after the new pages are ready and the block, if there was one, is gone. The old site stays up until you switch.
If you want this done from the site you already have, Vortex Personal is $59 a month for one live site. Pro is $449 a month for up to 10. Business is $2,499 a month for up to 150. Hosting is included. A year is ten times the month price. The old site stays up until you switch.
If the page is blocked and you cannot edit it, start a rebuild from the URL you have.
The price is on the average cost page.
