How much does a website cost for a small business

A bill and a calculator on a shop counter, how much does a website cost for a small business

How much does a website cost for a small business depends on the bills you already have plus the price in front of you. Our prices are Personal at $59 a month, Pro at $449 a month, and Business at $2,499 a month. Hosting is included. A year is ten times the month price.

Personal at $59 a month is $590 for the year. Pro at $449 a month is $4,490 for the year. Business at $2,499 a month is $24,990 for the year. The year is cheaper than twelve separate months because it bills ten months. One shop should buy Personal. Several sites can use Pro. A group of locations can use Business.

Add the costs a quote leaves off

Open the last twelve months of charges. Find the host. Find the domain renewal. Find every edit. If the host login is missing, the site can go down on a Saturday and you will hear it from a customer. Put that risk next to the quote.

Ask who changes the phone number after launch, how many days that takes, and whether the domain stays in your name. A project fee that ends on launch day is not the whole cost. The next year of hosting and edits is the rest.

Time one real edit before you buy. Ask the current person to change the hours. Write the date you asked and the date the site changed. If that gap is a week, add the week to the price. A cheap build you cannot update is expensive the first time the phone number changes.

Keep the domain renewal in your own account either way. That yearly charge is small and it is yours. A redesign that moves the name into someone else's account adds a risk that does not show up on the invoice. You should be able to log in and see the renewal date yourself.

The month here includes the new site from your current URL, hosting, Analytics, Search Console, and later edits. It does not include ads, a photographer, or the registrar's renewal. It does not include a traffic percent.

On one lab check, live Heritage Roofing scored 98 Performance and 100 SEO. The old page scored 82 SEO and failed the viewport, the meta description, and the phone font size. You can see that difference. You cannot buy a promised rank with the same dollars.

The redesign-only comparison is on the average cost page.

Or start a rebuild from the URL you already have.
